Gardens bookings are available for groups of 4 or more. All Gardens bookings will have an assigned table where food will be served. Tables will be assigned on a first-in-best-dressed basis.
Some tables will be located back from the river and will have an obstructed view of the fireworks. Once food service has been completed, you are welcome to move around the venue.

Babil Seating

This seating type has direct or slightly obstructed views of the river and fireworks.

Please note that this seating type has two rows of tables, the second of which is not directly against the window. Tables will be assigned on a first-in-best-dressed basis.

For groups of 2-4 people only.

Balcony Seating

This seating type has a completely unobstructed view of the river and firework display.

These are high bar tables with stools, and cannot be changed for traditional style seating.

For groups of 2-3 people only.

Standard Restaurant Seating

This seating type does not have views of the river or fireworks.

For those who want to watch the display, you may have to leave the venue to see.

• Can I walk-in?

  We will not be accepting walk-in’s in the Gardens between 4pm until after the fireworks have concluded.

  Walk-ins in the restaurant may be accepted between 4.30pm – 8pm depending on availability, however these tables will not have a view of the river or fireworks.

  Post 8pm we will be accepting walk-ins in both the Restaurant and Babylon Gardens.

• When are the fireworks?

  The firework display is scheduled to start from 7pm.

  ADF times and events will be shared closer to the date.

• Are children welcome to attend?

  Children are welcome to attend the event whilst in the company of a parent or guardian.

  A children’s menu is not available in Babylon Gardens.

  A children’s menu can be provided for children under 12 years of age in the restaurant. Please note, we do not provide highchairs, and space for prams in the venue is limited.  

• Is parking available at the venue?

  Babylon does not have any onsite parking, however there are Secure and Wilson’s carparks located within minutes’ walk of the venue along Eagle Street. Babylon does not validate parking.

  Road closures affecting Brisbane City, Kangaroo Point, South Brisbane and Fortitude Valley areas are expected. We recommend planning your journey ahead of time.

• Will there be other entertainment?

  Yes, we will provide roaming entertainment and a DJ in Babylon Gardens throughout the event.

• Can i come later than my booking?

  To ensure food service has finished by the time the fireworks display has started, we recommend arriving at the venue as close to your confirmed booking time as possible.

  Doors for Babylon Gardens will open at 4pm with food service beginning at 5pm.

  Bookings in the Restaurant can be made between 4.30pm - 5.30 pm, however we will require all tables to be vacated no later than 8pm to accommodate our second sitting.

  Standard Restaurant Bookings

  This is a booking for a standard restaurant table. It will not have views of the river or fireworks.

  • All bookings during this time slot are required to dine on our set menu. We require the set menu to be pre-paid in advance at the time of booking.

  • Most dietary requirements can be catered to outside of the set menu. Please advise any dietary requirements in the “special requests” box above.

  • Children are welcome to dine with us however please note we do not have a children’s menu or high chairs available.

  • We charge a cakeage fee of $5 per person. Please let us know in advance if you intend to bring a cake.

  • We will try to accommodate specific seating requests however no guarantee’s can be made.

  Babil Bookings

  This is a booking for a table positioned in the sunroom area of the restaurant. These tables will have a direct or slightly obstructed view of the river and fireworks.

  This area has two rows of tables, the second of which is not directly against the window. Tables will be assigned on a first-in-best-dressed basis.

  • Tables in this area cannot be moved or joined, and tables are for a maximum of four guests only.

  • All bookings during this time slot are required to dine on our set menu. We require the set menu to be pre-paid in advance at the time of booking.

  • Most dietary requirements can be catered to outside of the set menu. Please advise any dietary requirements in the “special requests” box above.

  • Children are welcome to dine with us however please note we do not have a children’s menu or highchairs available.

  • We charge a cakeage fee of $5 per person. Please let us know in advance if you intend to bring a cake.

  • We will try to accommodate specific seating requests however no guarantees can be made.

  Balcony Bookings

  This booking is for a table located on the restaurant balcony. These are high bar tables with stools, and cannot be changed for traditional style seating.

  • This is an outdoor yet covered area. In the case of wet weather we will endeavour to move you to a dry location, however this may result in obstructed views of the fireworks.

  • Tables in this area cannot be moved or joined, and tables are for a maximum of three guests only.

  • All bookings during this time slot are required to dine on our set menu. We require the set menu to be pre-paid in advance at the time of booking.

  • Most dietary requirements can be catered to outside of the set menu. Please advise any dietary requirements in the “special requests” box above.

  • Children are welcome to dine with us however please note we do not have a children’s menu or highchairs available.

  • We charge a cakeage fee of $5 per person. Please let us know in advance if you intend to bring a cake.

  Babylon Gardens

  This is a booking for our outdoor Babylon Gardens area.

  • All bookings in Babylon Gardens are required to dine on our share-style menu. We require the menu to be pre-paid at the time of booking.

  • Doors will open at 4 pm with food service at 5 pm.

  • An optional beverage package upgrade is available for 18 plus guests only. Beverage package will run from 5-7 pm only.

  • All bookings will have an assigned table, which is where food will be served. Tables will be assigned on a first-in-best-dressed basis.

  • Some tables will be located back from the river and will have an obstructed view of the fireworks. Once food service has been completed, you are welcome to move around the venue.

  • Babylon Gardens is a predominantly outdoor venue with limited wet-weather options. In the case of wet weather, we will do our best to accommodate your booking in a dry area.
